GMA"s IMMERSE is scheduled for July 27 to July 30 on the campus of Belmont University. The event offers unparalleled training, professional and personal feedback, one-of-a-kind concerts and a sense of community to uniquely equip creative Christians to impact culture through music.

Featured this year are Dove and Grammy® Award winning artist, Jeremy Camp and burgeoning and critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Britt Nicole. Camp says, ""I am really excited to be a part of IMMERSE this year! It drives right to the heart of why the Lord called me to live in Nashville. To pour in whatever experience and knowledge He has taught me over the years, and pouring that into others artists that are really wanting to be a part of this industry. I loved being a part of this event when it was out in Estes Park and now it is in my own backyard. Can't wait to see what God has in store for this year!"

At the heart of IMMERSE are the unique opportunities to attend seminars taught by artists and other industry professionals, which cover everything from getting signed by a label to performance techniques to tools for songwriting. Business minded attendees can receive training in booking, management, publishing and discover various entrepreneurial opportunities in the entertainment industry. Aspiring songwriters and artists can also have their song or demo tapes professionally critiqued. Additional topics will cover marketing, promotion, radio, A&R, management, publishing, PR, legal and more.

Teachers and judges have included representatives from established music companies such as Brentwood-Benson Publishing, Centricity Music, Daywind Records, EMI CMG, Provident Music Group and Word Entertainment.

Many artists and writers have been discovered or launched their careers through GMA's talent competitions, including Chris Tomlin, Casting Crowns, Matthew West, Jars of Clay, Nichole Nordeman, Bart Millard (MercyMe), Barlow Girl, Stacie Orrico, Point of Grace, Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, Chris Sligh and 2007 American Idol winner, Jordin Sparks.
